Hiram G. Disbrow, mason-builder, as
his private residence, built ths structure in 1856-57. Cipriani Sutton, located
at 313 East 58th Street just off of Second Avenue, is one of two adjacent
Civil War era landmarks.
Simple and direct in architectural style, Cipriani Sutton offers a delightful
and secluded haven from the monotony of glass, concrete, and bustle.
Set back behind Its white picket fence, this charming little two-story
structure is far removed from present day Manhattan.
An excellent example of the semi suburban houses that dotted the uptown
side streets of mid-nineteenth century New York.
On March 31, 1970 the Landmarks Preservation Commission designated
313 E 58th St. a historical landmark worthy of preservation. Its facade
remains pristine and historically accurate due to its landmark status.
We invite you and your guests to enjoy the classic Bellini cocktail
in our luxurious oak bar complete with all the amenities, which opens
into the main room.
High above the mid 1800's wide planked floor and Italian marbled fireplace
spans a glass ceiling, which opens this beautiful setting to sun and
starlight. Cipriani Sutton is a perfect settling for private events offering

Cipriani Sutton - A Cipriani landmark, continues a tradition established
in 1931 by Giuseppe Cipriani the founder of Harry's Bar in Venice.
