On the ancient island of Torcello in the Venetian lagoon, set within the 10-room Locanda Cipriani, the classics of Cipriani cuisine come together with the simplicity and refinement of recipes passed down over time, enriched by the lagoon’s seasonal catch, local gardens’ delicacies and traditional heritage desserts.
Designed by Florentine architect Michele Bonan, who has collaborated with Cipriani on several other locations around the world, Cipriani Beverly Hills embodies a sleek nautical aesthetic featuring polished wood interiors with steel trim, distinctive brown leather chairs, Murano chandeliers, black and white fashion photography and deep green velvet accents.




Private Dining and Events
The story of the Locanda began in the summer of 1936, when Giuseppe Cipriani, during a boat excursion, fell in love with the island and purchased a small wine shop, gradually transforming it into an inn that officially opened in 1947. From the very beginning, it became a retreat for those in search of peace, privacy, and genuine hospitality. Over time, the Locanda welcomed travelers, artists, and writers, including Ernest Hemingway, who found here a secluded haven immersed in the natural beauty of the lagoon. Today, this legacy continues, preserving the original spirit of the place intact.
